Overview
The Bank of Finland (Suomen Pankki) is Finland's national central bank and monetary authority, founded in 1811 and headquartered in Helsinki. Fully state-owned and overseen by the Finnish Parliament, it is part of the Eurosystem and is responsible for monetary-policy implementation, financial stability, cash supply and financial statistics.
