Overview
Nordea Bank Abp is the largest financial services group in the Nordic region, headquartered in Helsinki. It was formed in 2000–2001 through the merger of four major Nordic banks (Merita, Nordbanken, Unibank and Christiania Bank og Kreditkasse), with predecessor institutions dating back to 1820. Nordea serves around 9.3 million private customers and over half a million corporate customers in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, offering daily banking, mortgages, savings and investments, and digital banking services.
