Privacy Policy
Last updated 3 Sep 2026. This policy explains how we process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Finnish Data Protection Act (1050/2018).

2. Purposes and legal bases
- Contact form: to answer your questions and feedback. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Server logs: security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Analytics/advertising cookies (if enabled): to understand traffic. Legal basis: consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). See the Cookie Policy.
3. Personal data we process
- Contact form: name, email address, message content and timestamp. Providing this is voluntary; without it we cannot reply to you.
- Server logs: IP address, timestamp, requested URL, HTTP status, referrer and user-agent.

4. Recipients and processors
Your data is processed by our service providers: our hosting provider and our email provider. We do not sell your data or share it for marketing.
5. International transfers
Data is processed within the EU/EEA by default.
6. Retention
- Contact messages: deleted no later than 12 months after the enquiry is closed.
- Server logs: kept for up to 90 days.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify or erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. You may also withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
8. How to exercise your rights
Contact [email protected]. We may ask you to verify your identity. We respond within one month as a rule, free of charge.
9. Right to complain
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi), P.O. Box 800, 00531 Helsinki, Finland.
10. Automated decision-making
We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.
11. Security
We use HTTPS, access controls and data minimisation to protect personal data.
12. Children
This is a general-audience information site; it is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect children’s data.
13. Changes
We may update this policy. Changes are indicated by updating the date above.
In case of discrepancy, the Finnish version prevails.
